May 11 to June 3 Acrylic with oil, crayon, ink, and pencil on canvas · 66 x 72 in (1.68 x 1.83 m) · 2015 · $5,000.
This painting and its sibling (visible as the background image on my error page) were the first two completed entirely on large unstretched canvas unfurled from a roll. I pulled a section at a time up the wall, the other end still rolled up. I find it interesting how much time I put into a painting before I consider it complete. May 11 to Jun 3 is so named for the time that went into its creation. Its sibling is named May 6. A detail of this painting appeared in a large color photo alongside an article about me on the front of the Florida Times-Union Metro Section
